I’m sad that Christians have come to believe that in order to be a people of peace and a people of love, we have to rid ourselves completely of strength, assertion, and in some cases, the call to righteously rage against sin and evil.

Well said, Lacy!

Love, love, love Derek Webb and Caedmons. Love his song, "wedding dress."
Love his theological musings.

However, I do agree with you here. There is a time for War, and Solomon wasn't afraid to outline that in Ecclesiastes.

War sucks, undoubtedly. But peace doesn't exist without people willing to fight for it.
