I have found that I must never JUMP IN when I am angry or indignant. I must pray first. If I don't then it is all me trying to be the Holy Spirit. It is amazing how seeking the Lord's face first changes everything.

In Christ

You're right! We are eager, but to do what we ourselves cannot accomplish. "For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?" (2 Corinthians 2:15-16)
